📐 Room Size — set/change the room's Length × Width in inches. Everything drawn afterward stays true to this scale.
🔄 Landscape / Portrait — rotates the whole room (and everything in it) 90°. Shapes stay flush against the same physical wall.

＋ Add Shape — pick a Type first: Rectangle (furniture/fixtures, enter L × W), 🚪 Door (enter opening width + swing side), or ➤ Arrow (enter length — useful for entry points, traffic flow, etc). It drops in centered, to scale.
Doors and arrows use the same drag/rotate/lock controls as any other shape — rotate one to point it at any wall or direction.
Drag a shape's body to move it — snaps to the nearest inch, can't cross a wall.
Drag the small handle above a shape to rotate it freely to any angle.
🔒 / 🔓 locks a shape so it can't be dragged or rotated. Toggle from its sidebar row or the Properties panel.
Click a shape (or its sidebar row) to select it — the Properties panel lets you rename it, resize, recolor, reset its angle, duplicate it, or delete it.
⧉ Duplicate — clones the selected shape a few inches over. Also Ctrl/⌘+D.
Delete / Backspace — deletes the selected shape (when not typing in a field).
↶ Undo / Ctrl/⌘+Z — undoes the last change (move, rotate, add, delete, resize, room size, orientation, load...). ↷ Redo / Ctrl/⌘+Shift+Z reapplies it.

💾 Save — lets you pick a filename (and folder, in supporting browsers) and writes a .json layout file.
📂 Load — reopens a saved .json file, including its room size and orientation.
🖼️ Export Image — saves a shareable .png of the room. Shapes get a small numbered badge + a short leader line instead of a title crammed onto the shape, with a full Legend below the drawing listing every shape's title and dimensions by number. A shape with its title hidden (🙈) is drawn with no badge/legend entry, matching what you see on screen.
Nothing autosaves — save before you close the tab if you want to keep a layout.
